I'm back from my short stay in kingston, and when I got home I got my mitten swap box. the mitts are a dark purple, with a cable down the front, ( I don;t have a picture as my camera is not working. ). and some tea and chocolate. you can see the mitts on her blog http://duchessofgravity.blogspot.com
I had a great visit with my friends but was sick the first 3 days , Iam knitting on xmas gifts now,

guild meeting

Tuesday was our guild meeting, we have several new members, one young gent joined last nite, he seemed to fit very well, he is knitting (he says a Londaon Style ) scarf, it os black mohair and is now 7 feet long., we started to knit our rainbow shawls, we have 9 different colors, one color per row, we leave a lenght of yarn about 6 inches for the fringe, they will all be different colors. mine is in the blue purple ranch with some teal and black.
Thursday I go to make jewellry about my daughter-in-law's craft store.

gifts

Received my box from the tea swap 2, everthing was so nice, I got 3 pks of herb teas, 2 tea blossoms, 3 pks cookies, candy, 2 balls of confetti yarn in blues, beige and green for socks, 2 skeins of alpaca in blue and browns hand painted, a pewter bookmarker in the shape of a teapot, all nicely wraped, From Denise in Calgary.
today I mailed my 3 swaps off to the indiviual swapees.

Rain, rain go away

It is always raining here in Montreal, Yesterday I went for allergy tests, and the doc said it has rained so much he would test me doe mold, but I was okay, I couldnt have the live tests because I failed the breathing test.
, so have to go back
Last nite I took a car making course, I made 2 Xmas cards, I really enjoyed it, I made all my cards two years ago, so got some new ideas. On the knitting list, i am knitting away, on the dishcloth kal and some secret project.
also windng my yarn for the rainbow shawl, we will be starting on Tuesday at our guild meeting .
